Tony Nguyen: From Accounting to Culinary Arts - Anh Anh Vietnamese Restaurant
Tony's path to culinary excellence began in 2006 at Deakin University, initially pursuing accounting. However, a part-time job at a restaurant in Box Hill unknowingly ignited his true calling.
After completing his studies and a stint as an accountant in Vietnam, Tony's love for Australia's vibrant culinary scene brought him back.
The Birth of Anh Anh Vietnamese Restaurant: A Dream Realized
The closure of the restaurant in Box Hill during the COVID-19 pandemic marked a turning point for Tony. In Easter 2021, amidst challenging times, Anh Anh Vietnamese Restaurant was born, bringing a slice of Vietnam to the heart of Kew.
Anh Anh is not just another restaurant; it's a tribute to authentic Vietnamese cuisine. The soul of our menu lies in the cherished recipes of Tony's mother, Hong, a former head chef for the Vietnamese government.
