Returning to Australia in 2015, he rejoined Box Hill Restaurant as a manager, honing his skills in the restaurant industry. But when COVID-19 struck, and Box Hill Restaurant closed, Tony saw an opportunity in adversity. In Easter 2021, amidst the uncertainties of the pandemic, Anh Anh Vietnamese Restaurant was born.

What makes Anh Anh stand out in Kew's competitive food landscape? It's the soulful touch of family recipes, handed down from Tony's mother, Hong, a former head chef for the Vietnamese government.
